Empowering Youth: NSUT Hosts World Youth Festival Outreach Program in Collaboration with NPC India

New Delhi, July 18, 2025 — The vibrant campus of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Dwarka Sector-3, witnessed an inspiring confluence of leadership, culture, and youth empowerment as the NSS NSUT Cell, in collaboration with the National Preparatory Committee (NPC) India – Haryana & Delhi Region, hosted the World Youth Festival: General Assembly Outreach Program.

The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of over 550 participants, including student leaders, volunteers, dignitaries, and professionals, all united by the vision of fostering social leadership and youth motivation.

International Presence and Special Highlights

A key highlight of the event was the virtual address by Mr. Alexey Stanonis, Head of International Relations (Asia, Africa, and MENA) at the World Youth Festival Directorate, Russia, who stressed the significance of international youth collaboration in building a unified global society.

Adding to the international presence, Mr. Evgeny Vlasevsky, First Secretary at the Embassy of Belarus, was also present and felicitated, further underlining the festival’s global spirit.

Celebrating Efforts and Dedication

A joint presentation by NSS and NPC showcased their collective commitment to community service and youth-led initiatives. The efforts of all student volunteers and coordinators were formally recognized during a special felicitation ceremony.

In a memorable gesture, Mr. Priyank Kanoongo distributed silver coins to NSS volunteers as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service.

The program concluded on a high note with a resounding message: Youth are the torchbearers of social change, global harmony, and cultural exchange. The collaboration between NSS and NPC exemplified the strength of grassroots efforts and student-led leadership in driving impactful social progress.
